Shabu shabu, kotatsu, & mikan! What more could you want?!

Here's another food trip with Chika and this time with her pal Maruka. To visit this awesome restaurant near Shinjyuku is another great thing to do during Japanese winters. A three-in-one experience of Chika -- shabu shabu, kotatsu and mikan!

Highlights

"Okay, so what is special about this restaurant is that we've got kotatsu. Kotatsu is a table with a blanket. It's like a low table where you sit down on the ground and we've got a quilt and there's a oh, it's not lit up but there's a heater inside!"
"So this place is really cool. It's got a kotatsu and we can even wear chanchanko."
"Slow simmered pork! Look at the steam. Looks so good!"
"The other great thing about Japanese winters, HOT POT!"
"We got mikan (Mandarin oranges)!. Kotatsu and mikan go hand-in-hand. It's basically like hot cocoa in front of the fireplace."
